Getting started

Welcome to SoarTask. This guide walks you from sign-up to your first measured SEO outcome.

Workspaces and brands

A workspace is the top-level container for your SEO operation. Inside a workspace you create brands, websites, markets and projects. Each brand can own multiple websites and markets.

Connections

Connect a source to start pulling evidence. Each connector declares its permission scope, sync behavior and stale-state handling.

Google Search Console

OAuth, read-only scope webmasters.readonly. Daily sync. Provides impressions, clicks, CTR, position, query and page coverage.

Google Analytics 4

OAuth, read-only scope analytics.readonly. Daily sync. Provides sessions, conversions, engagement and landing page performance.

WordPress

Application password, read-only. On-demand sync. Provides published posts, page structure and metadata.

Workspace and brand scoping keeps each tenant's data separate. OAuth tokens and API keys are stored encrypted.

Tasks and workflows

Tasks move through a defined lifecycle: Intake → Triage → Planned → In Progress → Blocked → Done → Verifying → Closed. Each task has acceptance criteria, an owner, a priority and a measurement plan.

Routing

The routing engine assigns tasks by skill match, level fit, workload balance, continuity and SLA risk. You can preview a routing decision before applying it.

Measurement

Baseline before the fix, recheck after, and record the outcome. Outcomes are: improved, no change, worse or inconclusive.

Reporting

Reports tie completed work to measured outcomes with evidence citations. Schedule reports per brand or per workspace.

API reference

The REST API is at /api/v1 with Swagger docs at /docs. Bearer token auth, workspace-scoped, rate-limited per plan.

Audit logs

Every action is logged with actor, timestamp and detail. Enterprise plans add audit log export for compliance reviews.
